Our Story

Grace is the founder of Ann's Sweet Grace, LLC, a bakery that honors the legacy of her grandmother, Phyllis Ann, who first introduced her to the art of baking. Every summer as a child, Grace would visit her grandmother, and their time together was often spent in the kitchen, baking cakes, cookies, pies, and other delicious treats. These summers were filled with joy, laughter, and learning, as Grace absorbed the techniques, tricks, and tips passed down by her grandmother. Whether they were baking for leisure, church events, or community gatherings, Grace was always by her grandmother's side, learning not only how to bake but how to bake with heart and intention.

During school breaks, Grace continued to refine her skills by baking desserts and selling them for extra money, especially during holidays. It was during these times that Grace realized baking was not just a hobby—it was a passion that she wanted to invest in for the long term. With a clear vision in mind, Grace decided to start her own bakery. However, choosing the right name for the business proved to be a challenge. She knew she wanted the name to honor her grandmother’s legacy while also reflecting her own love for serving others, her core family values, and the mentorship she had received. After much thought, Ann's Sweet Grace was born in 2017—a name that encapsulated both the shared love for baking between Grace and her grandmother and the sweet grace that her grandmother embodied.

As Grace continues to grow her business, she remains focused on the deeper purpose behind Ann's Sweet Grace. More than just a bakery, it is a tribute to the values instilled in her by her grandmother: faith, family, education, and service. These principles guide her not only in the kitchen but in every aspect of the business. Ann's Sweet Grace is built on the foundation of strong family ties, a commitment to excellence in education, and having a heart for service. Each baked creation is a reflection of that legacy, infused with the same love and care that Grace experienced in her grandmother’s kitchen all those years ago.
